Sunday Inspiration: Volume 1.8

All of the inspiration, content, and intentions of the week so that you can arrive the aspirational way.

Sentiment of the week: “I've been in love with people and ideas in several cities and learned that the lovers I've loved and the ideas I've embraced depended on where I was, how cold it was, and what I had to do to be able to stand it.” - Eve Babitz

Here’s what is currently inspiring us: The Vans x Proenza Schouler collab (SWOON), natural wine, throwing parties for small celebrations, taking 15 minute walks after eating lunch, 12 minute at-home pilates sessions, hand-written thank you cards, Leonard Cohen, reading paperbacks vs. hard covers, picnics on the grass.

What we are consuming this week:

Book: Blue Nights by Joan Didion

Photo of the week: A signature James Turrell ovoid wall sculpture in Kendall Jenner’s home.

Ritual to implement: Swapping out your afternoon coffee for a green or black tea. Reducing the amount of caffeine but still giving yourself an afternoon treat and boost in a way that is gentler on your body.

Place to daydream about: Hotel Chelsea - where artists and creatives go to remember what was New York. To enter the world of Hotel Chelsea, click here.

What’s on our wishlist: Le Spoon Body Sculptor

Reordering this week: Undaria Cleansing Body Polish by Osea

Home of the week: Canoas House built in 1953 by Oscar Niemeyer.

Nostalgic for: Music videos that accompanied songs. The cultural conversation around music videos. How music videos were a stamp in time; a cultural excavation of the zeitgeist at that specific moment for future generations to dissect.

Question to ask yourself this week: What inspires me? Where can I actively seek out that inspiration?

Have a beautiful week. Until next Sunday.

Sincerely,

The REVUE Team
