Sunday Inspiration: Volume 1.5

All of the inspiration, content, and intentions of the week so that you can arrive the aspirational way.

Sentiment of the week: I am trying to reconcile the parts of myself that are warring against one another. The parts that want A and B but know those are - by the law of physics, I swear to thee! - mutually exclusive. As if I want to exist within multiple life paths, multiple realities. As if the well inside cannot be contained but, for all intensive purposes, must. Or at the very least, be ordered into channels of energy that move. the. needle. The burden of choice feels heavy when you just want some damn greatness.

Here’s what is currently inspiring us: Pride & Prejudice - or maybe just Mr. Darcy, predicting who the next artistic director of Chanel will be as Virginie Viard steps down, papaya as an afternoon snack, the work of Africa Brooke, when cacti bloom flowers, and re-reading literature classics.

What we are consuming this week:

Podcast: Katie Holmes on Street Style and A.P.C. by The Run-Through with Vogue

Article: Ballet Flats That Aren’t So Ballet by REVUE Editorial

Photo of the week: Les Demoiselles d’Avignon by Pablo Picasso

Ritual to implement: Legs up the wall in bed at the end of the day while you read for some lymphatic drainage and to wash the day away.

Place to daydream about: Paradero, a horizontally stretching hotel within the desert of Todo Santos, Mexico. To enter the world of Paradero, click here.

What’s on our wishlist: The BÉIS Weekender Bag

Reordering this week: Pregame Face Mask by CLEARSTEM

Home of the week: Home of architect Cayley Lambur and her husband Kyle Blasman’s home. Location: Big Sur, California. Originally designed by: Mickey Muennig. Design updated by: Electric Bowery. Originally published in: Architectural Digest. Photos by: Chris Mottalini.

Nostalgic for: Taking photos on digital cameras vs. our phones.

Question to ask yourself this week: What can I edit out of my week that isn’t creating peace, harmony, or alignment? What can I take out to live a more fulfilling and present life?

Have a beautiful week. Until next Sunday.

Sincerely,

The REVUE Team
