Sunday Inspiration: Volume 1.3

All of the inspiration, content, and intentions of the week so that you can arrive the aspirational way.

Sentiment of the week: “Books are finite, sexual encounters are finite, but the desire to read and to fuck is infinite; it surpasses our own deaths, our fears, our hopes for peace.” - Roberto Bolano

Here’s what is currently inspiring us: Breathwork, terrazzo floors or accents in design, the Cannes film festival, lymphatic drainage, when your friends text you ten times in a row, this white lace dress (awaiting it in black!), lighting copal incense, a really good burger.

What we are consuming this week:

Photo of the week: From the work of Collagist Jessica Worrall

Ritual to implement: Mid-day, post-lunch meditations. While the world inserts their meditation into their morning routine, there is power in breaking up the day with a 15 minute session. Weed through the brain fog and the screen fatigue by connecting to your breath. Your afternoon work will be much more enticing post-meditation.

Place to daydream about: The Parker in Palm Springs. Not merely a hotel but a true compound, every corner is designed by Jonathan Adler. An adult Alice in Wonderland meets mid-century heaven. A true playground for the culturally sophisticated. More about The Parker and where to go in Palm Springs if you are a creative here.

Reordering this week: Restorative Mask by Oak Essentials

Home of the week: Diplo’s house in Jamaica. Styled by Tessa Watson. Photography by Frank Frances. Featured in Architectural Digest.

Nostalgic for: The original Wicked on Broadway. The cultural and iconic moment it created within the zeitgeist. The first time we all heard Defying Gravity. Read this if you are a Wicked fan.

Question to ask yourself this week: How can my nervous system feel success as a safe place to be - as the only place to be?

Have a beautiful week. Until next Sunday.

Sincerely,

The REVUE Team
