Sunday Inspiration: Volume 1.2

All of the inspiration, content, and intentions of the week so that you can arrive the aspirational way.

Sentiment of the week: “Women want to be loved like roses. They spend hours perfecting their eyebrows and toes and inventing irresistible curls that fall by accident down the back of their necks from otherwise austere hair-dos. They want their lover to remember the way they held a glass. They want to haunt.” - Slow Days, Fast Company by Eve Babitz

Here’s what is currently inspiring us: The official Wicked trailer that dropped last week, Maison Margiela’s Tabi shoe collection, shades of the color purple, burning this candle every morning, an old copy of On the Road by Jack Kerouac, memoirs, ballet flats, and sleeping in.

What we are consuming this week:

Photo of the week: Supermodel Paulina Porizkova photographed for Vogue Portugal in October of 2023 by Branislav Simoncik

Ritual to implement: Eating lunch outside. Removing yourself from your office and breaking bread amongst the hummingbirds, the concrete sidewalk, or the garden.

Place to daydream about: Hotel Corazon is a lair for artists and the creatively astute; for the individuals with a flair for craftsmanship, self-expression, and an indulgence of the Mediterranean way of life. Located in Mallorca, Spain. For more about Hotel Corazon, click here.

Reordering this week: The Finishing Gel by Crown Affair

Home of the week: Designed by Balzar Architects and located in Madrid, Spain.

Nostalgic for: The simplicity of flip phones. Being not so reachable. Three letters to one key.

Question to ask yourself this week: Am I outsourcing my power? If so, to whom? How can I listen to my inner inspiration a little bit more this week?

Have a beautiful week. Until next Sunday.

Sincerely,

The REVUE Team
