Sunday Inspiration: Volume 1.11
All of the inspiration, content, and intentions of the week so that you can arrive the aspirational way.
Sentiment of the week: “Our lives are a series of dreams realized. We don’t say that enough.” - Elaine Welteroth
Here’s what is currently inspiring us: Everything and anything Loro Piana, Market Market in Palm Springs, mountains during golden hour, taking risks instead of playing it safe, studying the art of flipping homes, lipsticks in all shades of brown, brands that don’t white label, the DVF documentary on Hulu, writing things down with a pen and paper vs. on your phone, vision boards that aren’t vision boards but rather inspiration boards.
What we are consuming this week:
Photo of the week: A Panel of Experts, 1982 by Jean-Michel Basquiat
Ritual to implement: Journaling first thing in the morning before your mind has awakened. Stream-of-consciousness like Jack Kerouac but without the alertness, without the preparation, without the direct intention. Writing and writing and writing what your mind needs to get rid of, what it needs to remember, what it needs to come back to before the day even begins.
Place to daydream about: L’Horizon in Palm Springs is an adult-only, luxury, mid-century mecca. Little midcentury bungalows spread out over three acres make up this property, encircling a quintessential blue Palm Springs pool. For the aesthetically neutral, you won’t find colors at L’Horizon as the horizon of this hotel is black, white, wood, and green cacti. A sexier stay that is reminiscent of the golden Hollywood era of Palm Springs. For more information on L’Horizon and Palm Springs, click here.
What’s on our wishlist: The Perfect Jean by SAME
Reordering this week: Daily Synbiotic DS-01 Probiotic by Seed
Home of the week: Architects: Isabel Francoy and Anna Enrich. Interior Design by: Cesar Carcaboso and Josep Vicens, founders of SANTA Living. Located in Barcelona. Photography by Javi Dardo.
Nostalgic for: The days when everyone wasn’t famous.
Question to ask yourself this week: If my future self had one piece of advice for me today, what would she tell me?
Have a beautiful week. Until next Sunday.
Sincerely,
The REVUE Team
